Yesterday in Room 4 Literacy, Ironman started a novel study!! We had done lot's of prep about all they would need to know to be able to read a novel and do the activities, and the group were really excited to take on the challenge! We have started with the book 'Wonder' by R. J. Palacio. So far we are LOVING it!!
The book is about a 10 year old boy named August with a face deformity, and talks about his journey starting a school, and how he is treated! A really interesting and thought provoking read for Ironman!
